Leaked the logo of Qualcomm's new chip

Qualcomm Snapdragon

A few days before the big announcement on November 30, the logo of Qualcomm's new chip, the Snapdragon 8Gx Gen 1, was leaked.

According to GSMArena, the leak was detected on the company premises. The title of the page is 'Thumbnail check' and the icon in question sits next to the 'Test123' label.

Obviously, this is a template that is intended to be filled with real text (that's the point of the stage background), but that hasn't happened yet.

The chipset name for the new flagship was supposed to be 'Snapdragon 8 Gen 1'. Qualcomm did not confirm the exact name; recently referred to "our new Snapdragon 8-series platform". It is therefore possible that the chips of the 8-series will actually be named '8Gx'.

Qualcomm already has chips named '8cx', a leading offering for Windows-on-ARM laptops. There is also an 8c, which sits just under 8cx, and an entry level of 7c. If 'c' stands for 'computer', what does 'G' represent?

According to GSMArena, according to the current naming system, some chipsets receive a 'G' plug to indicate the maximum clock speed of the GPU, e.g. Snapdragon 765 and 765G. And the word 'x' simply means higher.
