Xiaomi Watch S1 and Xiaomi Buds 3 were unveiled next to the Xiaomi 12 and MIUI 13 series on Tuesday. While the Xiaomi Watch S1 is the company that offers the most advanced smartphones to date, the Xiaomi Buds 3 is one of its latest stereo earbuds (TWS). The Xiaomi Watch S1 comes with a polished stainless steel frame and sapphire glass protection. Includes a leather wristband option to bring a top-notch feel to the wrist. Xiaomi Buds 3, on the other hand, offers a compelling wireless listening experience with features that include active audio cancellation (ANC) and HiFi audio.
Xiaomi Watch S1, price of Xiaomi Buds 3
The price of the Xiaomi Watch S1 is set at CNY 1,049 (approximately Rs. 12,300) for the Viton Wristband option, while the one with the leather belt has a price of CNY 1,099 (approximately Rs. 12,900). The smartwatch comes with Obsidian Black and Black Viton Strap and Streamer Silver with brown options and Blue Leather Strap. Xiaomi Buds 3 carries a price tag for CNY 449 (approximately Rs. 5,300) and includes Black Jade and First Snow White colors.
Both devices will be available for purchase in China from December 31. Details about the launch of the Xiaomi Watch S1 and Xiaomi Buds 3 in global markets including India are yet to be announced.
Details of Xiaomi Watch S1
The Xiaomi Watch S1 has a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with 466 x 466 pixel resolution and Sapphire Glass protection. The smartwatch works with devices running at least Android 6.0 or iOS 10.0 and is integrated with 117 game modes. It also plays a waterproof 5ATM structure.
When paired with a compatible phone, the Xiaomi Watch S1 can be used to navigate messages and notifications. It also includes a microphone and speaker that help allow users to access voice calls in their arms, without having to pull their phone out of pocket.
Xiaomi Watch S1 combines support for oxygen saturation (SpO2) and heart rate monitoring. However, it will not be used instead of medical equipment. The smartwatch also has GNSS positioning for accurate location tracking and NFC for making unaffected payments.
Other connectivity options on Xiaomi Watch S1 include Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n and Bluetooth v5.2.
Xiaomi has packed the Watch S1 with a 470mAh limited battery that can deliver up to 12 days of normal use or up to 24 hours of standby time with a single charge. The clock is connected to a wireless charging base and measures 46.5x46.5x11mm.
Specification of Xiaomi Buds 3
Xiaomi Buds 3 is equipped with a dual-magnetic driver driver unit that delivers audio output with details at all levels. There is also a stand-alone background and a metal mesh to enable accurate control of low-frequency dynamics. Xiaomi has also introduced its HRFT affiliate curve which it says helps enable studio-level audio quality.
For sound cancellation purposes, Xiaomi Buds 3 has three different microphones that are said to help reduce existing noise levels up to 40 decibels. There are three different ANC styles, namely Mild Noise Reduction, Balanced Noise Reduction, and Deep Noise Reduction. These can be selected depending on the environment and the level of audio users who want to be disconnected.
Xiaomi Buds 3 also includes a transparent mode dedicated to helping users connect with others or hear the surrounding sounds while listening to their music tracks.
Like other earbuds of the same class, the Xiaomi Buds 3 earbuds have a moderate dust IP55 and water resistance. Earbuds also support touch gestures to voice voice calls and audio output adjustments.
Xiaomi has provided Bluetooth v5.2 connectivity to Buds 3. The earbuds are also integrated with a charging case that provides quick pairing with selected Xiaomi phones.
Xiaomi Buds 3 is rated to deliver up to 32 hours of battery life when used with a charging case. The earbuds themselves are rated to provide seven hours of playing time for a single charge when the ANC's operations are closed. In addition, the integrated charging case supports both wireless (USB Type-C) and wireless charging.
