The OnePlus 9RT will be launched today (Friday, January 14) at the company’s Winter Edition launch event. The successor to the OnePlus 9R smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC and play three 50-megapixel camera settings. OnePlus Buds Z2 wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds will also be unveiled at the event later today. These earbuds include active voice cancellation (ANC) and offer 38 hours of battery life. The OnePlus 9RT and the OnePlus Buds Z2 were launched in India three months after the launch in China.

The upcoming launch event for the OnePlus 9RT and OnePlus Buds Z2 will be at 5:00 pm IST. The launch event will be broadcast live on the company's website, while users can also listen to the OnePlus India YouTube channel. OnePlus will also host the event live on its Twitter and Facebook accounts.

Details of OnePlus 9RT
The OnePlus 9RT sports a 6.62-inch full HD + (1,080x2,400 pixels) Samsung E4 AMOLED display with a resolution of 120Hz. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC under the hood, which is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. The OnePlus 9RT runs on Android 11, with the company's OxygenOS 11 on top.
The upcoming OnePlus 9RT features a triple rear camera setting, featuring the Sony IMX766 50-megapixel main sensor, 16-megapixel ultrawide camera and 2-megapixel camera for larger photography. The smartphone also comes with a 16-megapixel selfie camera with Sony IMX471 sensor. The OnePlus 9RT uses a 4,500mAh battery that supports the Warp Charge 65T for faster charging of 65W.

The OnePlus Buds Z2 TWS earbuds come with a standard design, and have 11mm flexible drivers. Unlike the old OnePlus Buds Z, these earbuds come with active audio cancellation and clear mode. The OnePlus Buds Z2 comes with a Bluetooth v5.2 connection and provides touch controls. They also offer up to 38 hours of battery life (including a charging case) for a single charge and can provide up to five hours of play after 10 minutes of charging with Flash Charge support.
