Sony WF-C500 true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds were launched in India on Monday. The new affordable earbud comes with a full battery life of up to 20 hours - including an integrated charging case battery. The Sony WF-C500 earbuds also have a non-squeaky design and hold flexible ears for better grip while listening to music on the go. Additionally, TWS earbuds come with simple control buttons and support Google assistant and Siri voice assistants. The Sony WF-C500 earbuds come in four different colors.
Price of Sony WF-C500 in India, availability details
The price of the Sony WF-C500 in India is set at Rs. 5,990. The earbuds will be available for purchase in Black, Blue, Orange, and White from Sunday (January 16) through Sony stores including Sony Center and Sony Exclusive, ShopatSC.com, supermarkets, and e-commerce websites.
In September, the Sony WF-C500 was launched in Europe for EUR 90 (approximately Rs. 7,600)

Sony WF-C500 TWS earphones come with 5.8mm drivers with a frequency response of 20Hz – 20,000Hz. The earbuds were installed at a company owned by Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE) which is said to bring compelling sound and call quality out of the box. Sony has provided an IPX4 certified design that can carry splashes of water.
Like the other earbuds in its segment, the Sony WF-C500 has Google support and Siri support. There is also support for Android Fast Pair and Swift Pair to make it easier to connect with compatible devices.
The Sony WF-C500 comes with buttons that allow users to play, pause, or skip tracks and adjust volume levels to their liking. The earbuds also have a Bluetooth chip that is said to transmit sound to the left and right ears simultaneously without interruption.
Earbuds are rated to deliver up to 10 hours of battery life with a single charge. The charging case maintains a fully charged charge that lasts a lifetime of battery life up to 20 hours. The charging case provides one-hour play time and a fast charging of 10 minutes
