Users of Google Pixel 6 complain that features

Users of Google Pixel 6 complain that features including auto rotation and horizontal auto-scanning are broken on their phones. As per user reports on company and Reddit support forums, a growing number of Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro phones have stopped reading sensory data. Also, auto-rotation and auto-horizontal images automatically break for users even after an update by Android December. Google recently released a December 2021 update to its Pixel phones to deal with known bug fixes and risk lists.

Some owners of Google Pixel 6 say that after the update, the camera does not automatically rotate to display landscape images, while others say that their Pixel 6 units sometimes fail to read data from other sensors. Many affected users say they can restart their phones for the features to work again. However, it is not a permanent fix.

As reported by Android Police, the latest Google flagship models tend to have bugs in their software. Google Pixel 6 is said to be unable to read sensory data - gyroscope, accelerometer, and compass. According to the report, while troubleshooting with the Sensor Test app, these sensors do not return data. However, other sensors such as a barometer, proximity sensor, magnetometer, and ambient light sensor were found to be operating in a published test unit.

Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro users have also complained that when they use roaming apps like Google Maps, their phone fails to show the exact way they are looking at the map. Since the compass is not accessible, and the system is unable to read the data provided by the main sensors, the Pixel duo will not be able to detect if the phone is positioned vertically or horizontally.

Additionally, some users have complained in their complaints to Reddit that their Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro units are losing their mobile network service at random after installing the latest update. However, Google will still confirm the problems and fix them.

Remember, the Gogole Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro were unveiled in October this year in limited markets. The price of the Pixel 6 starts at $ 599 (approximately Rs. 45,000), while the Pixel 6 Pro comes with a starting price of $ 899 (approximately Rs. 67,500).
