The launch of the Redmi Note 11S in India will take place soon, with Redmi India mocking Twitter, echoed by Xiaomi Global Vice President Manu Kumar Jain. The handset has been in the news recently and has appeared on various certification websites. Rumorative phone details have also been leaked and it is suggested that it may come with a Samsung HM2 108-megapixel camera or the 64-megapixel OmniVision OV6480 as the main camera. The company launched the Redmi Note 11 series in China in October.
A tweet shared by Manu Kumar Jain and Redmi India suggests on the Redmi Note 11. With the use of "1S" instead of "IS", the company seems to be mocking the Redmi Note 11S. The 220111TSI model handset, which is thought to be the Redmi Note 11S, has been seen on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification website before, indicating the launch of India. Similarly, a smartphone with model number 2201117SG and the name Redmi Note 11S was detected on the NTBC certification authority website. Other phones with the same model numbers also have access to the EEC certification website.
In addition, tweets and media text sent to Gadgets 360 also highlight the smartphone camera, although the exact sensor setting is unclear. A report last month revealed that the Redmi Note 11S will be equipped with a 108-megapixel Samsung HM2 camera or the 64-megapixel OmniVision OV6480 as the main camera, depending on the market. It is said to play on the Sony IMX355 ultra-wide camera, as well as the 2-megapixel OV02A macro camera. The phone may be powered by MediaTek SoC.
The Redmi Note 11S was reportedly seen with three different code names - Viva, Vida, and Miel_pro - suggesting three different models.
