An important feature of the Sony WF-1000XM4 that makes earbuds stand out from the competition is the support of the LDAC Bluetooth codec, which is rare among TWS earphones. Sony WF-1000XM4 earphones are powered by the company's Integrated Processor V1, which allows for effective audio cancellation and LDAC Bluetooth codec processing. There is also support for Sony's 360 Reality Audio audio format, as well as the full 32-hour battery life required for active audio cancellation. Fast charging promises up to 60 minutes of charging time of five minutes, and the ears are water-repellent IPX4. Google Fast Pair is supported on Android devices, and voice assistant support is also available for Sony WF-1000XM4 earphones.
