Samsung has reportedly restarted the release of a stable version of the Android 12-based One UI 4 update. The update was suspended recently when more users reported issues related to Google Play compatibility. The One UI 4 update was released for the Samsung Galaxy S21 series, the Galaxy Z Fold 3, and the Galaxy Z Flip 3 smartphones. The aforementioned Samsung Galaxy smartphones update above is now reportedly being distributed worldwide.
According to a report by XDA Developers, Samsung is finally restarting the stable version of the Android 12-based One UI 4 series Galaxy S21, Galaxy Z Fold 3, and Galaxy Z Flip 3. As mentioned earlier, Samsung said (via - moderator of its forum) partnered with Google to resolve issues of interaction between its One UI 4 update and Google Play.
The firmware version of the Galaxy S21 series' One UI 4 update is G99xBXXS3BULC and G99xNKSS3BULC for global and South Korean markets, respectively, according to the report. The firmware version of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is called F926xxxS1BUL6, while the firmware version of the Galaxy Z Flip 3 is called F711xxxS2BUL6. Combined with the update, the smartphones reportedly received the December 2021 Android security feature.
An up-to-date (OTA) update for Samsung Galaxy smartphones should come automatically. However, sharp users can manually check the update by going to Settings> Software update> Download and install.
Problems with the Android 12-based One UI 4 update for the Samsung Galaxy S21 ₹ 56,979 series were reported last week when users encountered interaction issues related to Google Play. At the time, the South Korean technology giant did not comment on the problems reported in the review. Meanwhile, users of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 ₹ 84,999 and Galaxy Z Fold 3 reported problems such as slow performance, inactive applications, screen blinking, low audio quality, and more earlier this month.
