Realme GT 2 Pro are now underway in China

Previous sales of Realme GT 2 Pro are now underway in China on various online platforms. At the same time, two different variants and smartphone color options have been introduced. The smartphone, along with the vanilla Realme GT 2, will be unveiled on January 4 in China. The premium handset will be one of the first smartphones powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. Recently, a Realme official revealed that the Realme GT 2 Pro will have a 2K display with a resolution of 1,440x3,216 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz.

Realme GT 2 Pro is on the list of various e-commerce websites including JD.com and the company's online store for pre-launch / blind sale. Those interested can pay CNY 1 (approximately Rs. 12) to order a Realme handset, and all other fees can be paid on the day of phone launch (January 4). Customers can also win prizes in this mode. The smartphone is also available for pre-booking.

As for the Realme GT2 Pro variant, the JD list indicates that the device will be offered in two variants: 8GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. There are two color options: Master Paper and Master Mysterious (translated). Listing in the Realme online store, however, shows the final 8GB RAM + 256GB model in the Master Paper color option.

Recently, a Realme official joked that the Realme GT 2 Pro would play a 6.7-inch 2K display with smaller bezels and a hole-punch cut in the upper left corner of the screen. The display will be provided by Samsung, and has a resolution of 1,440x3,216 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. It will feature LTPO technology, as well as Gorilla Glass Victus protection. In addition, both phones in the Realme GT 2 series are expected to have a “Heart Rate Detection” fingerprint sensor that can use the heartbeat to turn on the phone.
